One girl chronicalling her misadventures in Migraine Land.
I love your cartoons! I don't suffer from migraines very often, but I do suffer from chronic pain (lower back, pelvis and legs). Many of your cartoons are appropriate for any chronic pain condition. Example, your squirrel eating at your brain (causing migraines) would be perfect for how the pain in my left sacroiliac joint feels (like a squirrel eating at the joint and bones).Anyway, thank you for your blog! It is one of the better things in my days!
Thank you so much, Raven. I was feeling blue about my art not being any good and your commment really brightened my day.
I thought you might be interested in a survey I found for women who get migraines when they get their period. If you're interested, you can check it out at www.menstrualmigrainestudies.info. Maybe you can share it with your other followers?
love em! do they have names? my SE monster would be called "Foggy." He appeared when I took Topamax (aka Dopamax) which made me feel like my head was in a fog and that I was dumb as a bag of rocks!
I love your drawings as well. You have a definite style, and I think it's great. The migraine monsters are so great... and Migraine Mary is cute and evil... HA HA HA HA (evil laugh)!! I was thinking the other day how much I'd love to find some cartoons and images just like yours for a new migraine site I'm building. I'd love to talk to you about licensing some of your work. My blog URL is linked from my name and there's an email link on the top right if you're interested. My best!!
You never made any comment on your April 10th doctor's appointment--did you start on new meds? Are you finding anything to work for you yet?Btw, I love your drawings too!
I just love your little pill monsters!!! Side effects seem to be the main topic of my life lately, so I appreciate this humor more than you know :)~Maya at www.lovingwithchronicillness.blogspot.com
