Migraine Moods

I took this photo at a hairdressers in a mall and then I altered it with Photoshop. I like how the window reflection puts bars across her head.

I noticed she is bolted to the table. I've been trying to bolt the ice packs to my head folding t-shirts into bandannas and now putting the ice packs under skull-caps. That works best so far. In between the lines is exactly where the ice pack goes. Great photo. C

I just stumbled across your blog. Do you by chance live in North Texas? I doesn't matter, everyone in North Texas has migraines. Hubby had them all his life. He says they really got bad when we married 28 years ago. Long story, we won't go there... July 2008 he was diagnosed with Hodgkins, in his sinuses, tonsils and adenoids. He's the first person to have ever been diagnosed with cancer of the sinuses. He went through chemo and radiation and we are coming up on the one year mark of his final treatment Jan.31st. His headaches are few and far between now, mostly caused by allergies, but not full blown migraines anymore.

Hope you find some relief, have you tried acupuncture? If all else, when they jab that needle through your hand to the other side you won't think about your head for awhile.

Great blog, I hope you are headache free when you read my hello from Slug's Rest. Come on over for some green leaf tea when you are feeling like it, we'll leave the light low for ya.
Slide smoothly! Love Mrs. Slug

MSG is disguised in many foods like hydrolized soy protein and a strong migraine trigger. Ranch dressing, Doritos, and packaged rice, some nuts and thousands of other foods are loaded with this migraine causing food additive. MSG causes the brain to function differently in relation to blood supply to brain. I had migraines for 15 years until I eliminated MSG and have not had one since.
