The Monthly Visitor

I've been having hate/loath relationship with my period for quite some time now, and I've been calling it Aunt Martha since all this perimenopause migraine stuff started, so I decided to make a collage about her.

I understand this ... its odd that some months, migraines and my cycle seem to be very closely integrated - others, there is no link at all. I don't know what's going on with that, but its frustrating. Maybe I need to research perimenopause ?

Anyway, I love the sentiment of your latest collage!

It could be a number of factors actually. From magnesium deficiency, to MAO deficiency, food triggers to environmental factors (as you suspect molds, stress and sleep deprivation, and the BIGGIE serotonin levels, prostaglandins, calcium, lack of exercise and 22 others....the list is almost unending. I figured mine out though. Migraines at the time of periods - serotonin and magnesium issues....
