The Chin Hair Club

Being in a cube farm environment, I’m exposed to a large number of co-workers on a daily basis. Two women across from me are obsessed with their chin hairs. They talk about them so much that I’ve named these women “The Chin Hair Club.”

They discuss their hairs all the time, fiddling with them, and tweezing them. They talk how they begin to poke out and then go back when they try to tweeze them. One woman even delves into the infections she gets from messing with them too much and they turn into zits.

I don’t have any chin hairs, but sometimes as I listen to these women, I wish the extent of my problems were only chin hairs. I find myself being envious of these Chin Hair Club members.

It's weird what migraines make you wish for, like you find yourself thinking I would happily trade my migraines for a few chin hairs. (Plus, I already have lots of tips for dealing with them after listening to these ladies.)

oh there are lots of things I would have traded mine in for. chin hairs; that is funny. It reminds me of when I used to visit my Gram and she weould hand me her tweezers and ask me to "pluck my beard!" yep, looking forward to menopause

An angry library patron once told me that I needed to pluck my chin. A couple of weeks later the police came into the library and arrested him, on charges unrelated to the chin-hair incident.

i do randomly get a chin hair, not that I would ever admit it in public, and i quickly pluck it away before anyone notices or it is noticable. I was having a facial once and the facialist asked me if she could pluck my chin hair. I was mortified to hear that and asked her immediately pluck it. she informed me that it is good luck in china to have chin hairs and no one in china plucks them. she had recently plucked a chinese clients chin hair and it had caused the woman to cry......digusting.....

given that I would trade all the tea in china for chin hair in exchange for my migraines. at least i could get them lasered off......

It was certainly interesting for me to read that blog. Thank you for it. I like such themes and everything connected to them. BTW, why don't you change design :).
